Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives has once again been recognised among the Maldives’ leading luxury resorts at the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2026, reaffirming its position as one of the destination’s most distinctive boutique private island escapes.
Among this year’s honours, General Manager Raffaele Solferino was named Best Hotel General Manager in the Maldives for the second consecutive year, a testament to his continued leadership and the resort’s unwavering commitment to exceptional guest experiences. Further elevating the resort’s standing, Grand Park Kodhipparu was also recognised among the Maldives’ finest for its celebrated infinity pool experience and thriving house reef — two defining elements of its intimate island offering.
Accepting the awards on behalf of the resort, Raffaele Solferino reflected on what the recognition represents:
"To receive this accolade for a second consecutive year is deeply humbling, but these awards are never about one person alone. They reflect the passion of our team, the trust and loyalty of our guests, the support of Park Hotel Group, and the extraordinary natural environment that surrounds us."

Raffaele also acknowledged the role of Park Hotel Group in supporting the resort’s continued evolution.
"The vision and commitment of Park Hotel Group have been instrumental in shaping the success of Grand Park Kodhipparu, Maldives over the last ten years since pre-opening. Together, we continue to build a resort experience that is deeply personal, experience-led, and reflective of what luxury travellers are increasingly seeking today."
Unlike larger destination resorts, Grand Park Kodhipparu has carved out a niche as a boutique luxury resort in the Maldives — intimate in scale, highly personalised in service, and deeply connected to its natural surroundings. With just 120 villas, the resort offers a more private and immersive island experience where guests can move seamlessly between overwater tranquillity, world-class snorkelling, meaningful dining experiences, and moments of genuine connection.

The recognition of its house reef reinforces the resort’s reputation as one of the Maldives’ most accessible and rewarding marine environments, where vibrant coral ecosystems and abundant sea life can be discovered just metres from shore. Its iconic infinity pool, meanwhile, has become one of the resort’s most photographed and social spaces, embodying the effortless rhythm of island life.
These accolades come as Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives celebrates its ninth anniversary and continues to strengthen its Connected Island Luxury positioning — an experience philosophy centred on connection to self, others, nature and place. This direction reflects the growing shift in traveller behaviour towards more meaningful, experience-led stays over traditional notions of excess, aligning with broader 2026 luxury travel trends.
Together, these latest honours reinforce Grand Park Kodhipparu standing not only as one of the Maldives’ most awarded boutique private island resorts, but as a place where luxury is defined by intimacy, authenticity and meaningful moments.
