Operating out of Frankfurt, the airline will run services to Malé four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The route is scheduled between May 1 and October 31, coinciding with peak outbound travel from Europe.

Visit Maldives noted that the return of Condor’s service follows ongoing collaboration with German travel partners, particularly tour operators who remain central to sustaining visitor demand from the market. Germany continues to rank among the Maldives’ most reliable source markets, supported by a well-established travel network and a strong base of repeat travellers.

The added capacity is expected to drive higher arrivals during the summer months, a period that is gaining momentum due to competitive rates, bundled holiday packages, and a broader mix of accommodation options across the country.

Beyond point-to-point travel, the Frankfurt connection also improves access from across Europe, allowing the Maldives to tap into a wider network of feeder markets. Visit Maldives views the airline’s return as a sign of sustained confidence in the destination’s performance within the long-haul leisure segment.

Condor’s network strength, combined with its ties to German tour operators, is expected to support structured distribution and steady demand, catering to both high-volume and value-focused travellers.

The timing of the development is notable, as parts of the Middle East air corridor continue to face operational challenges that have disrupted travel patterns. In this context, increased direct connectivity from Europe offers travellers greater flexibility and more reliable routing options, helping to maintain consistent access to the Maldives.

With Condor set to resume its summer operations, the Maldives is poised to strengthen its foothold in the German market while expanding travel choices for visitors heading into the 2026 season.
