MGallery Collection, the boutique luxury brand within Accor Group, will introduce V Villas Maldives at Mirihi- MGallery Collection, an all-villa resort set to open in early 2026 on the private island of Mirihi in South Ari Atoll, Maldives. This will mark MGallery’s first property in the Maldives, adding to its global collection of design-focused, story-inspired hotels.
The resort, formerly known as Mirhi Island Resort, will undergo significant renovations to offer 42 beautifully designed luxury villas, including beach villas, overwater villas, and multi-bedroom suites with private pools. Each villa is the work of Studio Gronda, an award-winning architecture and design firm, and combines contemporary style with Maldivian heritage and natural elements. The interior connects seamlessly with outdoor spaces, opening onto a protected lagoon and pristine beaches. Every villa comes with a dedicated butler to ensure personalized service.

Surrounded by vibrant coral reefs and a thriving house reef near the overwater villas, the resort offers tranquil and immersive experience. Guests can enjoy wellness programs, diving and snorkeling among manta rays and whale sharks, and elevated dining experiences including an overwater restaurant, new bar concepts, and a main pool area. Additional amenities include a signature spa, an indoor and outdoor gym, and a yoga pavilion.
Owned by VIE Maldives Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Thailand’s major Cineplex Group, the resort is led by Vicha Poolvaraluck, who also oversees successful MGallery properties in Thailand. “ The MGallery V Villas in Maldives will provide a serene sanctuary where guests can reconnect with nature,” said Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems.

Guests will arrive via a 25-minute seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport and enter a setting that blends understated sophistication with thoughtful design. Sustainability is a key focus, with eco-friendly practices embedded into the resort’s design, operations, and guest experiences as part of Accor’s ESG pilot program.
With the addition of V Villas Maldives at Mirihi, MGallery Collection, which now includes over 120 Boutique hotels worldwide, continues to expand in exceptional leisure destinations, offering travelers a distinctive and memorable escape in the Indian Ocean.
