The Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025 has officially entered its most electrifying stage, as the Grand Semi-Finals kicked off on 4th November 2025, at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa. With the atmosphere buzzing, fans, players, and officials gathered for a spectacular opening to the final leg of the tournament.
The evening opened with both teams walking out to the iconic FIFA anthem, followed by the national anthem. Chief guests joined the teams on the pitch for the ceremonial player greetings, marking the start of what promises to be the most thrilling stage of the competition yet.
Joali Maldives and Joy Island went head-to-head in the first Grand Semi-Final – a clash packed with intensity, skill, and determination. Joali struck early with a goal in the first half, putting pressure on Joy Island. Despite continuous attacking plays, close calls, and crowd-roaring attempts from Joy Island in the second half, Joali Maldives held firm, sealing a hard-fought 1–0 victory. With this win, Joali Maldives becomes the first team to secure a spot in the Grand Final.
The second Grand Semi-Final takes place today, 5th November 2025, featuring another blockbuster matchup:
Grand Semi-Final 2 – 5th November 2025
- The Marina @ Crossroads Maldives (South Kaafu Zone Champion) vs. The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli (Dhaalu Zone Champion)
Only one of these powerhouses will claim the remaining seat in the Grand Final—and the stakes could not be higher.
The Grand Final is set for 7th November 2025, where Joali Maldives awaits the winner of tonight’s showdown in what promises to be the most exciting finale the tournament has seen yet.
