Bandos Maldives has welcomed Haamidh Uwais as its new Marketing & Communications Manager, a role that will see him lead the resort’s branding, communications, and global marketing initiatives.
With an MBA and a background in software engineering, Haamidh brings a rare combination of strategic business knowledge and digital expertise. With over seven years of experience, most of it in hospitality, he has worked with renowned Sri Lankan hotels - Granbell Hotel Colombo and Le Grand Galle which is under Belluna Lanka. His expertise spans digital media strategy, PR partnerships, content creation, and international influencer/content creator collaborations.
Haamidh has developed a reputation for being detail-oriented, creative, and people-focused. His work has consistently emphasized meaningful guest connections, strong trade relationships, and impactful digital campaigns that drive results.
Speaking about his new role, Haamidh shared that he aims to strengthen the resort’s existing vision of "The Island of Hospitality," ensuring that the warmth of the guest experience and the authenticity of the brand are consistently conveyed through both promotional and communication platforms.
In his new position, he will be responsible for leading integrated marketing and communications strategies, enhancing the resort’s visibility in key markets, and showcasing Bandos Maldives’ heritage, hospitality, and experiences that appeal to families, couples, and international travelers alike.
