The Travel Guys has taken another bold step in diversifying its offerings with the launch of the first edition of Rashu Magazine, which was launched on 17th September 2025 at MIHAS 2025 (Malaysia International Halal Showcase).
This breakthrough marks the launch of Rashu Magazine’s inaugural issue focused on local island tourism in the Maldives, continuing the journey that began with Rashu Expo 2025. The magazine connects international travel agents, media, and tourism stakeholders with the vibrant local island experiences across the country.
As part of Rashu Media the first ever Rashu expo was held in 2025 as Maldives' first local island tourism expo. The event promotes and showcases the culture, history, and tourism attractions of the Maldives local islands to locals and tourists. While the Expo provides a live platform for community voices, Rashu Magazine ensures that the stories reach out globally, guaranteeing they are seen and heard by international audiences.
The first issue of the magazine featured K. Himmafushi as its title partner and provided in-depth features about travelling to the Maldives, alongside an insightful interview with Ruth Franklin, Co-founder of Secret Paradise. Alongside this, the magazine also features a selection of local islands and finest boutique hotels in the Maldives to visit. Offering intimate and personalised experiences for travelers seeking something beyond the usual luxury resorts.
