Sun Siyam Resorts has appointed Shimhad Ali as its new Director of Human Resources at Sun Siyam Iru Veli. Shimhad brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge in Human Resources within the luxury hospitality sector.

He joined Sun Siyam Resorts in January 2024 as Human Resources Manager, and has since demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to excellence. Throughout his career in the hospitality industry, Shimhad has held key HR roles at prestigious resort properties in the Maldives, including Jumeirah Olhahali Island and LUX* North Male’ Atoll. 

In his new role, Shimhad will oversee all HR functions at Sun Siyam Iru Veli, from driving talent development to strategic HR initiatives.
