The Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025 has now moved to the Baa Zone, where the tournament officially kicked off on 14th August 2025. Hosted by Royal Island Maldives, the competition features eight strong teams split into two groups. These teams will compete for the prestigious title of Baa Atoll Champion and the chance to advance to the national stage.
Baa Zone Teams
Group A: Royal Island Resort, The Nautilus Maldives, Milaidhoo Island Maldives, The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Group B: Finolhu Baa Atoll, Soneva Fushi, Dusit Thani Maldives, Vakkaru Maldives.
The opening ceremony featured a cultural dance performance by the Royal Island team, hosted by MC Madhuritu, Learning and Development Manager. Royal Island’s Resident Manager, Mohamed Afrah, presented the Baa Zone Champions Trophy and delivered a welcome speech before Royal Island and The Nautilus entered to the FIFA Anthem. The ceremony concluded with the Maldivian National Anthem.
