Baros Maldives proudly joined the global diving community in honouring PADI Women’s Dive Day 2025, marking the occasion with a week of curated experiences celebrating the spirit and strength of women in diving. Held from 15 to 19 July, the initiative was designed to inspire connection, confidence and curiosity beneath the surface.
In the days leading up to the main event, female guests enjoyed 25% off their first or single dive, including refresher and orientation dives on the renowned Baros House Reef, as well as Discover Scuba Diving sessions for those taking their first plunge. These special benefits created a welcoming space for divers of all levels to explore Baros’ spectacular marine biodiversity.
The celebration culminated on 19 July with a complimentary dive led by Baros’ female dive instructors. Open to all certified women divers and those who had completed a Discover Scuba Diving experience during the week, the dive brought together a spirited group of ocean-loving women to share a memorable morning exploring the reef. The experience was captured with commemorative underwater photographs, taken beside the official PADI Women’s Dive Day banner.
Ambra Dugaria, Dive Base Leader at Divers Baros Maldives, shared her thoughts on the experience, “At Baros, diving is about connection — to nature, to yourself and to others. PADI Women’s Dive Day is a powerful reminder that the ocean belongs to everyone, and we’re proud to create a space where women feel confident, celebrated and free to explore.”
Led by Divers Baros Maldives, this initiative reflects our commitment to inclusivity, empowerment and community in marine exploration. As a PADI Five Star Gold Palm Dive Centre, Baros remains dedicated to offering immersive, safe and inspiring underwater journeys for divers of all experience levels.
