The Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025 Noonu Zone officially began with a inspiring opening ceremony. After a entertaining dance performance by the Siyam World Cheer squad, the teams entered the field to the FIFA anthem, followed by the Maldivian national anthem, creating a proud and exciting atmosphere and marking the official start of the tournament.

The curtain-raiser match saw Siyam World take on Soneva Jani, last year's Noonu Zone champion, in a tight contest that was sealed with a draw. It was followed by an action-packed match between Sun Siyam Irufushi and Velaa Private Island, 2023 Tekkers Resort Cup champions.
