In celebration of International Yoga Day and this year’s theme, “One Earth, One Health,” Sun Siyam Olhuveli Maldives has introduced Aerial Yoga to its growing portfolio of wellness experiences. Launched on 21 June 2025, the activity is now offered at the resort’s open-air Blue Fit Platform.

The launch brought together resort guests, wellness enthusiasts, and team members in a shared experience that highlighted the connection between movement, mindfulness, and nature. Aerial Yoga invites participants to practice yoga while suspended in high-density tricot fabric hammocks, supporting the body through a blend of balance, breath, and flow.

Beyond offering a sense of lightness and support, the practice is designed to decompress the spine, improve circulation, and build core strength—all while overlooking the calm of the Indian Ocean. Sessions are available as private or group classes, led by certified instructors, and tailored to suit both beginners and experienced practitioners.
