Baani Event has teamed up with Travelution Media as official Travel Media Partner for the anticipated event. The contract was signed by Ahmed Afrah, President of Baa Atoll Council on behalf of Freedive Maldives and Aishath Jeelan, Director/Managing Editor of Travelution Media.

Open to interested participants from B. Atoll islands, resorts and the entire Maldives, Baani is set for 3^rd October 2025. The event is expected to bring together an estimate of about a thousand people to snorkel in the Angarfaru region of B. Atoll.

As per the B. Atoll Council, the main objective of Baani event is to raise awareness about the negative impacts on nature and promote the atoll as an exciting holiday destination to the entire world. The world record attempt is the largest and first of its kind to be organized within the atoll.
