The roadshow is taking place across four major Indian cities from 12th to 16th May 2025. The schedule includes Cochin, (12th May), Coimbatore, (13th May), Hyderabad, (15th May), and Bengaluru (16th May). Each event welcomes over 100 carefully selected travel agents, offering them an opportunity to engage directly with representatives from some of the most prestigious resorts in the Maldives.

The primary objective of the roadshow is to spotlight the Maldives as a leading destination for luxury, romance, and experiential travel. The event is a strategic platform to enhance trade relations and support outbound travel from India to the Maldives, with a particular focus on the luxury, weddings, leisure, and MICE travel segments.

Speaking on behalf of Visit Maldives, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Ibrahim Shiuree remarked, “We are pleased to support this extensive initiative by Tatabye Maldives to further connect with travel trade professionals across key Indian cities. This roadshow strengthens our ongoing efforts to promote the Maldives as a top-tier destination for Indian travellers seeking luxury, weddings, leisure, and business travel experiences.”

Tatabye Maldives has built a solid reputation over the past decade as one of South India’s top wholesale operators for Maldivian resorts. With direct contracts with over 150 properties in the Maldives and a presence in both Indian and Middle Eastern markets, the company is a key player in the region’s travel landscape.

“Tatabye Maldives, also known as Tatabye Tours, is honored and proud to be officially endorsed by the Maldives Tourism Board.
