Hospitality company Atmosphere Core has appointed Michel Politano as Senior Vice President Commercial.  In this expanded role, Michel will oversee comprehensive strategy across all commercial functions at Atmosphere Core, leading a team of more than 60 professionals, while also handling distribution for all upcoming developments and global expansion. This top promotion within the commercial function is part of a lineup of strategic elevation of existing and new leadership through the ranks.

Originally from France, Michel Politano began his career in Europe before moving to Dubai, where he built a strong reputation in distribution, his core expertise and first love, along with sales mastery. He successfully restructured and organised local and international sales teams, leading to efficiency and growth for the organisation. In this dynamic hospitality landscape, he developed a knack for uniting multicultural and multifunctional teams and inspiring them to focus on a common goal. With over 20 years of experience, he has built expertise across the breadth of commercial operations, from identifying revenue and sales opportunities and refining digital marketing, to problem-solving and executing robust business strategies.

Since moving to the Maldives in 2022, Michel has overseen distribution and revenue management for the entire Atmosphere Core portfolio — bringing with him a distinctive leadership style that combines commercial precision with emotional intelligence. With this approach, Michel naturally embodies Atmosphere Core values, consistently fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking culture. He has played a central role in driving Atmosphere Core’s commercial transformation, introducing innovative systems and processes, and delivering record-breaking revenue growth. Along with strong implementation, he’s also known for creating clarity where others see complexity, and for getting people on the same page in environments that are anything but simple.
