Dusit Hotels & Resorts in the Maldives has announced the appointment of Ahmed ElShishiny as the new Cluster Director, Marketing, overseeing all marketing efforts for Dusit Thani Maldives and the soon-tolaunch dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives.

With more than seven years of experience in luxury hospitality marketing across the Middle East and the Indian Ocean, Ahmed brings a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of market dynamics, guest engagement, and brand positioning. His impressive career includes three years as Area E-commerce & Digital Marketing Manager for Minor Hotels, where he led the marketing strategies for nine resorts in the Maldives. Prior to that, he was E-commerce & Digital Marketing Manager for Kempinski Hotels in Egypt, where he successfully implemented digital-first campaigns that elevated brand visibility and drove performance.

In his new role, Ahmed will lead the overall marketing strategy for Dusit Hotels & Resorts in the Maldives, with a strong focus on integrated brand communications, partnerships, content, and digital innovation. His appointment reflects the brand’s strategic direction to place greater emphasis on digital transformation while maintaining a strong foundation in traditional and experiential marketing.
