Sun Siyam Resorts announces the appointment of Ahmed Ibrahim as the Director of Training & Development, based at the company's Head Office in Malé, effective immediately.

Ahmed brings over 20 years of extensive leadership experience in human resources and talent development, having successfully implemented organizational transformation strategies and leadership programs across multiple industries. In his new role, he will oversee all learning and development initiatives within Sun Siyam Resorts, ensuring that employees across all properties are equipped with the skills needed to deliver exceptional service and enhance leadership excellence.

As Director of Training & Development, Ahmed will focus on building a robust training framework that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the company. Ahmed holds a Master’s in Human Resource Management from the University of Westminster (UK) and a Bachelor’s in HR and Administrative Management from La Trobe University (Australia). He is a Chartered Member of CIPD (UK) and has been recognized as one of the 100 Top Global HR Minds at the World HRD Congress.

In addition to his professional achievements, Ahmed is the President and Co-Founder of the Maldives Association of HR Professionals (MAHRP), and he is deeply committed to advancing the HR profession and fostering continuous learning.
