The morning began in a peaceful and empowering way, with a ladies only complimentary yoga session at the Kuramathi Spa. From 6:30am to 7:30am, participants stretched, breathed, and found serenity under the guidance of our expert yogi, all while surrounded by the breathtaking natural beauty of the island.

Bageecha Kids' Club also joined in the celebration of International Women’s Day with a day full of creative and fun activities. Children participated in a craft session where they created drawings and cards to honour the strong women they admire. A highlight of the activities was when the kids enjoyed making mocktails, accompanied by pastries and fresh fruits. The Kids' Club activities allowed the younger guests to engage with the day’s empowering theme in a joyful and meaningful way.

As the sun set, the energy shifted to a joyful and lively celebration at the Sand Bank. Guests gathered to embrace the theme. The evening was filled with laughter, music, and meaningful conversation, as we reflected on the importance of creating opportunities and empowering the next generation of women and girls.

With live music, fun games, and an uplifting ambiance, International Women’s Day at Kuramathi Maldives was more than just an event—it was a reminder of the power of community, support, and the ongoing journey towards equality. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us in making this day truly special. Here’s to strong women-past, present, and future!
