Following the overwhelming success of our previous editions, we are thrilled to unveil the 3rd issue of Travelution Magazine, also known as the 2024/25 edition. This issue will run from November 2024 until April 2025, and we are excited to officially launch it at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, a global stage for the travel industry at the prestigious ExCeL London. With this new issue, we continue our journey to celebrate the beauty, culture, and innovation that define the Maldives as a world-leading destination.

This time, we explore not only the breathtaking landscapes but also the vibrant cultural mosaic that makes the Maldives unique. From the intricate craftsmanship of liyelaa jehun and thundu kunaa mats to the rhythmic energy of Bodu Beru, this issue offers a window into centuries of tradition, artistry, and the everyday life that defines Maldivian culture.

Heritance Aarah, our title partner for this issue, exemplifies the blend of luxury and Maldivian heritage. We had the pleasure of interviewing Suresh Dissanayake, Assistant Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Heritance Aarah, who has been one of our biggest supporters since the inception of The Travel Guys. It gives us great pride to feature him in this issue and learn more about their vision for further enhancing the guest experiences at Heritance Aarah.

We are also thrilled to feature our Gold Partners. Celebrating its fifth anniversary, CROSSROADS Maldives offers a unique blend of entertainment and luxury. General Manager Frederic Lebegue of Hard Rock Hotel Maldives shared how the brand’s iconic spirit merges with the islands’ natural beauty. Ifuru Island Maldives, under the guidance of General Manager Marcel Sawyer, promises an adventure-filled, all-inclusive stay, and Alila Kothaifaru Maldives continues to shine with its commitment to sustainability, luxury, and cultural immersion.

We are also excited to feature Maldivian artist Aima Musko, whose work captures the evolving cultural landscape of the Maldives. Her vibrant, emotive art adds a unique artistic perspective to this issue.

Special articles in this issue explore the timeless poetry of Raivaru, the importance of Health, Safety, and Happiness in tourism, and the beauty of Macro Diving in the Maldives. We also explore Kasabu Bovalhu’s cultural significance and the fascinating diving history in Kaafu Atoll.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that Travelution Awards 2025, our signature event, will be held in May 2025. This prestigious event will celebrate excellence in travel and tourism, honoring leaders and innovators across the industry. We look forward to bringing together THE BEST of the Maldives' travel community for this unforgettable event.

As always, I extend my heartfelt thanks to our partners, contributors, and the entire Travelution family. Your continued support allows us to bring these stories to life. Here’s to another chapter celebrating the Maldives’ beauty, culture, and luxury.

I hope you enjoy reading this edition as much as we enjoyed creating it.
