Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/ Visit Maldives) is collaborating with the National Hotel and Guest House Association (NHGAM) and the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) to showcase the Maldives’ offerings for the Bangladeshi market at the Asian Tourism Fair (ATF) Dhaka from 19th to 21st September 2024. As the prime partner country of ATF 2024, the Maldives delegation consists of 37 representatives from 23 industry partners, promoting leisure and affordable luxury travel among Asian countries, particularly the emerging Bangladeshi market.
ATF Dhaka is an in-depth fair consisting of tourism business networking and coordination between the private sector, organisations, and development agencies in Asian nations. It provides opportunities for establishing linkages among people to people, people to destinations, and country to country. In addition to the main travel trade exhibition focusing on B2B and B2C, sideline events such as the exhibition of sustainable initiatives, seminars, workshops, and cultural exchanges also take place. The event will feature a special community-based tourism mart and a tourism skills convention aimed at tourism marketeers and professionals. This year’s ATF 2024 collides with World Tourism Day, adding even more excitement to the event.
The Maldives stand at ATF 2024 showcases the unique aspects and features of our breathtaking destination, highlighting the diversity of experiences, our vibrant marine life, and the natural splendour that makes the Maldives the World’s Leading Destination. The stand features exciting activities such as traditional food tasting options and features our tourism products with a focus on affordable luxury and family travel segments.
